Half-sticky rice with sake, scallops, and shitake mushroom thing
I think this is a traditional japanese dish? You basically soak everything in a pot for a while and then cook it all together like you'd cook rice. The flavor is really subtle but UGH it's good.

Salmon thing.
Rub salt and black/white pepper into salmon. Pan fry ham, onion, garlic, and salmon in olive oil. Add tomato paste, parsley, top with cheese. Done! Turned out really oily because of the olive oil plus the salmon oil and cheese. TASTED REALLY GOOD THOUGH.

So real life has been horrible, but it's almost over, I'll deal. Sorry for those who had to put up with it on twitter in the past week XD

I'm putting all my effort into not just holding my pinky on shift and keyboard slamming; because that is what my actual episode reaction is like. Oh man, the embarrassingly squeally sound I made for this episode.

So I've been thinking of doing something like this for a while now, mainly since I've started cooking my own food - which was years ago, but yeah procrastination.

Since it's still mostly a learning process for me, I've always thought it'd be a good idea to actually note down what I've been experimenting with so I don't forget about it. Sometimes I'll find dishes that really work but forget about it the next day.

And I do understand that most people probably don't want to know about my odd Chinese-Japanese-Italian-American fusion cooking that doesn't always work, so if anyone doesn't care to see this I'll put it under a filter. It's really mostly a note to self kind of thing.

Personally I'm not too happy with how this drawing turned out. Oh well, I needed some drawing done regardless of quality because internship has been so hectic and busy (but fun) that my brain is kind of fried.

I admit for a long while during season 4 I've given up on Sam/Dean for the show's new shiny toy (Castiel/Dean.) However, last week I watched season 1+2 straight through, and a few days ago I purchased season 3 and am half way through it.

Man, why did I ever give up on Sam.

I'll probably go back to being mad at him if I go through season 4 again, BUT DAMNIT I STILL LOVE THE BOY.

Been having horrible health lately. First a deathly cough that went on for a few weeks, then an ear infection, and as soon as the ear infection clears I get a sore throat plus a stuffed nose. Trying to heal up fast enough in time for monday when my internship starts, cause snotting and coughing everywhere is not a great way to make a first impression.
